When we are too critical of others, we think and act out of our own bitterness and dissatisfaction.
Criticism arises when something remains unaddressed, unhealed in us. It probably has been there for long and continues to consume us. It continues to dictate our mind and create unhappiness with everything and everyone around.
Critical people build a wall around themselves. A wall that doesn’t allow others to see their goodness and strengths. And a wall that holds the negative environment around them.
Criticism comes from negatively charged words, feelings and emotions. It comes from unhappiness and rejection of what is. Therefore, what it creates for the person who is being critical is discomfort, unrest, anxiety and stress. This further complicates their situation and makes their aura heavy. It also builds a wall of darkness around them. And what other people see in them is just this wall, which hides their true self, their goodness, and strengths. Not only this, it doesn’t allow them to break free and keeps making the tendency of being critical stronger in them by keeping them caged in a critical environment.
For we only give what we have. A critical person therefore, is an unhappy person, an unhealed person.
